Northern Colorado is one of the state’s most vibrant and livable areas. It is also one of the fastest growing parts of Colorado. The Regional Issues Summit is a forum that will bring attention to some of the larger issues facing Northern Colorado.  The half-day program will feature expert presentations, panel conversations and participant reactions. Business, civic, education and government leaders are invited to attend to help identify possible solutions to the area challenges.

Leadership Northern Colorado Kick Off Event

The business community is also invited to extend their day at the Embassy Suites and to join Leadership Northern Colorado for their kick off event starting at noon. Regionalism is becoming a central issue for the area.  Community members are invited to learn about this important topic and to meet the 2017 Leadership Northern Colorado class.  The luncheon program will feature keynote speaker, Armando Silva as seen in/on Red Rocks Amphitheater, Denver Center for The Performing Arts, PBS, TEDX, Vail International Dance Festival, University of Northern Colorado, Colorado State University and Colorado University.

“I believe with my artistic powers I have a responsibility within my community to lead, educate and give back. I paint portraits to help tell stories, sometimes in my studio or on stages in front of thousands. As a creative I look for opportunities to present my artwork in order to paint a bigger picture. My intuition is to find the greens in a red rose and the blues in an orange. Every brush stroke has a rhythm and every color has its voice.”

The event, which is open to the public, will raise funds to provide scholarships to future class participants. Registration is $25. Registration includes lunch and the keynote presentation by Silva.
