Signs of the Times and World Sign Associates have announced their 2023 annual sign contest winners. Local, employee-owned DaVinci Sign Systems, Inc. has been awarded First Place in each contest for two projects. For Signs of the Times 2023, DaVinci has won Best Outside Design Shop/Fabrication Non-Illuminated for the Estes Park Wayfinding signage project. The project is featured on Signs of the Times’ website at https://signsofthetimes.com/best-outside-design-shop-fabrication-non-illuminated/.
Commissioned by the Town of Estes Park, the wayfinding signage system includes three different sign types. Installed throughout the park, the vivid colors and functional beauty have already enhanced visitor experiences in Estes. The signs have design features that are both modern and rustic, with easy-to-read font selections and location maps.
For World Sign Associates’ 2023 Coolness Competition, DaVinci has won First Place in the Under 100 Square Feet category for Compass Meridian Apartments in Englewood. The monument signage is a deep russet color that enhances the surroundings and provides maximum glow when illuminated.
DaVinci has won seven national awards in the last four years and multiple awards in years past. In 2022, the company won Signs of the Times’ top award for Emily’s Alley signage art for the Slate Hotel Denver and the WSA Coolness competition’s top award for Brighton Crossings in the over 100 Square Feet category. Other national award winners from years past are City of Superior Gateway monuments (top award and Best in Show) and Painted Prairie signage for David Weekley in Aurora.
