Edge Optics is excited to announce its Big Summer Blow Out, an interactive evening of art, style, and community connection — all to raise funds for FoCo Café, Fort Collins’ first nonprofit, pay-what-you-can restaurant. The event will take place on Monday, September 22nd from 4–7pm at Edge Optics, 121 Laporte Avenue, Fort Collins, CO 80524.
Guests are invited to enjoy a one-of-a-kind lineup of experiences, including:
Tattoos by local artists from Black Onyx Tattoo & Black Sheep Collective
Piercings & permanent jewelry from Solana Studios
Hair Silx tinsels hand-tied by Amanda Salazar
Build-your-own flower bouquets with CC’s Flowers
A mountain of Mary’s Mountain Cookies for guests
A variety of snacks, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages
The evening promises more than just fun — it’s about giving back.
FoCo Café operates with a pay-what-you-can model, ensuring that everyone has access to delicious, nourishing meals regardless of financial circumstances. Guests who can pay more are encouraged to do so and “pay it forward,” while those with less can donate what they can or volunteer their time in exchange for a meal. Proceeds from the event will directly support the café’s mission of feeding the community with dignity and compassion.
“Our Big Summer Blow Out is all about bringing people together for a great cause,” said William Maestas, event organizer at Edge Optics. “This event combines local businesses, creativity, and philanthropy, and we’re proud to support FoCo Café.”
