Aspen Grove Veterinary Care (Aspen Grove) welcomes its newest Associate Veterinarian, Allison Brekke, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Brekke joins three other veterinarians and a team of more than 20 industry experts in her role at Aspen Grove.
“Dr. Brekke brings a ton of energy along with an extensive amount of knowledge for treating working and sporting dogs from her time as a Captain in the Army,” said Dr. Bobby Cawthron, Lead Veterinarian and Co-Owner of Aspen Grove Veterinary Care. “She was in charge of the medical care for one of the largest military working-dog populations in the United States and described by her commanding officer as a ‘top 10% officer, a meticulous planner and exceptional medical professional.’”

After obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Boston College, Dr. Brekke attended Colorado State University where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
“I am grateful to continue my career in the town where it began,” says Dr. Brekke. “Aspen Grove Veterinary Care has given me the opportunity to combine my passion for animals with my passion for the Fort Collins community.”
When she’s not treating four-legged friends, Dr. Brekke enjoys spending time with her children in the Colorado outdoors.
