Dear Santa,

Dec 18, 2018 | Uncategorized

I am sooooooo looking forward to seeing you Monday night!

Like always, no gifts for me please. I have all I need and more. But here are my requests for others.

For Colorado State University Athletic Director Joe Parker and Head Football Coach Mike Bobo, at least 8 wins next season, and 9 would be better.

$1.5 billion for North I-25. After being ignored for half-a-century it needs some love.

Coats, boots, and gloves for all elementary school kids in the community. To help you out, Santa, people can send their checks to the North Fort Collins Business Association at NFCBA, P.O. Box 115, Fort Collins, CO 80522. NFCBA will provide the gift of warmth for all kids!

Knowledge and wisdom for those who seem to want to argue for tolerance for alternative economic systems. Please give them copies of any or all of these books: Basic Economics, Thomas Sowell; Liberty versus the Tyranny of Socialism, Walter Williams; and Capitalism and Freedom, Milton Friedman. For those who want to buy copies to gift to their friends, they can stop by Old Firehouse Books to pick up or order copies.

For all those working to drive up electricity rates in Northern Colorado, coal in their stockings, a just gift!

Time in beautiful, remote and quiet places in Colorado and Wyoming without cell or Wi-Fi service for everybody who wants to be inspired (and hear themselves think!).

Profits for all area businesses.

Safety and peace for all those in the armed services who are far from home, friends, and family during this holiday season.

More donations to the United Way of Larimer County, the Food Bank of Larimer County, and other area nonprofits so they can help those who need it the most.

Anything our great Chamber volunteers want. Many of our members provide great insights, significant financial support, and valuable, valuable time to us and our community.

And finally, good health and happiness to all our members!

See you shortly, Santa!

Your pal,

David
