Dan Andrews, CFP®, Named an Accredited Estate Planner® Designee
by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils

FORT COLLINS, COLO — Dan Andrews, CFP®, director of estate and financial planning and partner at Financial Planning Fort Collins (FPFoCo), is newly certified as an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designee by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC).

“I find estate planning to be one of the most important aspects of the personal financial planning process,” Dan said. “I enjoy encouraging clients to craft personalized estate plans that reflect their wishes during their lives and as final gifts to those they wish to positively influence, like their families, communities, non-profits, the globe — any goal important to them. The AEP® designation signals that I’ll work alongside our clients as we strive to help them reach those goals through each unique comprehensive financial plan we create.”

The AEP® designation is a graduate-level multidisciplinary specialization in estate planning obtained in addition to already-recognized professional credentials within the various disciplines of estate planning. It is awarded by the NAEPC to recognize estate planning professionals who meet stringent requirements of experience, knowledge, education, professional reputation, and character. An AEP® designee must embrace the team concept of estate planning and adhere to the NAEPC Code of Ethics as well as participate in an annual renewal and recertification process.

“Our team’s commitment to education and deepening each member’s knowledge in service to our clients is remarkable,” Jason Speciner, CFP®, EA, director of tax and investment planning and founder of FPFoCo said. “Dan’s diligence in earning the AEP® designation further enhances his already robust skillset in estate planning.”

NAEPC is a national organization of professional estate planners and affiliated local estate planning councils dedicated to the cultivation of excellence in estate planning. NAEPC fosters the multi-disciplinary approach to estate planning by serving estate planning councils and their credentialed members and delivering exceptional resources and unsurpassed education.
