FORT COLLINS, Colo. (June 23, 2016 ) – Clays’ Ace Hardware, a locally owned and operated Ace Hardware store, would like to congratulate Chef Jason of 5280 Culinary as the winner of its 2016 Grill Your Ace Off grilling competition. The competition on Sunday, June 5, 2016, drew hundreds of community members to sample delicious cuisine from local eateries. The event raised $1,029.50 for Pathways, a local nonprofit that provides expert medical and comfort care for individuals with an advanced medical condition and their loved ones.

“We are very grateful for Chef Jason and all the chefs who donated their time and food for Grill Your Ace Off,” said Tim and Julie Kenney, Owners of Clay’s Ace Hardware. “It is because of their generosity that we are able to support local organizations, such as Pathways.”

The other participating griller included and Ryan’s Sports Bar and Grill. Those attending the event had the opportunity to sample and judge the grilled cooking of each restaurant. Community members cast their votes by donating $1 per vote; all proceeds benefited Pathways.
