ChildSafe, a local nonprofit that provides therapy for victims of childhood trauma and abuse, invites the community to its Be A Hero 5K, Sunday, August 29 at the ChildSafe offices (2001 S Shields St, Building K). This out and back 5K occurs on a shaded and flat section of the Spring Creek Trail perfect for all levels of runner. A fun run for children under 6 will also be available.
We encourage participants to dress as their favorite superhero, every day or imaginary – prizes for the best dressed will be available!
