I had the tremendous honor of being recognized as one of the 2026 Fifty Most Influential Leaders in Northern Colorado as noted by BizWest last week. The honorees were selected in 10 industry categories, and one business leader in each of them was recognized as the top vote-getter as selected by participants in an online poll.
While I wasn’t the top vote-getter, it is as they say – I was honored to be in the mix. More telling was the list of the top voter getters and their direct impact on the Chamber and our economy. We are thrilled that the following Chamber leaders were recognized as top vote-getters:
-
Banking: Nicole Staudinger, FirstBank/PNC
-
Construction: Tim Johnson, GH Phipps
-
Government and Education: Amy Parsons, Colorado State University
-
Health Care: Kevin Unger, UCHealth
-
Hospitality: Ginger Graham, Ginger and Baker
-
Organizations: Kristen Todd, NoCo Foundation
-
Professional Services: Michael Payne, Coan, Payton and Payne
-
Real Estate and Development: Ryan Schaefer, NAI Affinity
Each of these individuals has provided leadership, investment and influence to our organization and the region. Included in the top vote list are former Board Chairs, key sector partnership leaders and tremendous advocates for the Chamber and our economy. We are better because of the impact of these incredible leaders.
One of our volunteers noted last week that, thanks to their involvement in the Chamber, they had the ability to contact any of the 50 leaders recognized. That speaks volumes about the role of the Fort Collins Area Chamber in our regional economy and community success. You see it every day, but we are Building Community Through Business.
