This year, the Sustainable Living Association proudly celebrates 25 years of empowering individuals, businesses, and organizations in Fort Collins to embrace sustainable living and environmental stewardship. As we reflect on the past quarter-century, we are filled with gratitude for the community that has supported us every step of the way. Together, we’ve built a legacy of positive impact that has transformed lives, businesses, and our shared environment.

Our work in the Fort Collins community has touched many areas. From hosting impactful events like the beloved Sustainable Living Fair and Earth Day Fort Collins to organizing the Youth Climate Leadership Series and Sustainability Leadership Program, we have inspired thousands to take actionable steps toward sustainability. These initiatives have empowered youth leaders, educated residents about climate action, and equipped businesses with the tools to implement sustainable practices and become purpose-driven leaders. Over the years, we’ve also worked closely with our policymakers to advocate for equitable and effective climate solutions, making our community a model of environmental leadership.

This journey would not have been possible without our dedicated community partners. Whether it’s through financial contributions, event sponsorships, volunteer hours, or collaborative programming, our partners have been critical to our success. Together, we have cultivated a community where sustainability is not just an aspiration but a way of life.

Looking ahead, we remain committed to tackling the challenges of climate change and sustainability with the same energy and determination that have defined our first 25 years. However, our work is far from over, and we need the continued support of our community to make the next 25 years even more impactful.

Here’s how you can help:

  • Sponsor an Event or Program: Your financial support ensures we can expand our reach and deliver impactful programming.
  • Volunteer Your Time: Join us in hosting events or leading initiatives that inspire others.
  • Partner With Us: Collaborate on innovative projects that make sustainability accessible and actionable for all.

As we celebrate this milestone, we invite you to join us. Together, we can build on this legacy, turning the next 25 years into a powerful movement that ensures a sustainable, thriving future for Fort Collins and beyond—because when we work as a community, there’s nothing we can’t achieve.
