CASA of Larimer County, a local nonprofit serving abused and neglected children, has announced the selection of Mary Ericson as its new Development Director. “Our Board of Directors and staff are excited to have Mary join the CASA of Larimer County team,” said Executive Director, Sabrina Stoker. “We’re currently serving 50% of the abused and neglected children who need our services and it is our goal to serve every child in need. As we strategically expand to meet this goal, Mary’s expertise will be an especially valuable asset to the organization.”
Mary has served the Fort Collins nonprofit community by raising funds for local organizations, increasing awareness of community issues, and contributing research to inform collective impact efforts. Her experience in resource development and marketing will serve to advance CASA of Larimer County’s philanthropy efforts, advocacy, and services.
Mary holds her MPA from the University of Colorado, Denver and her BSBA from Colorado State University.
“I am honored to join the CASA of Larimer County team in this key role. The staff and CASA volunteers are literally changing lives every day, and I have the privilege of sharing these amazing stories with the community,” said Mary. “The organization is in an exciting place—the CASA program has already served as many children this year as were served in all of 2018! However, there are still so many kids needing support. We have big plans on how we’re going meet this growing need, and I can’t wait to get started.”
