Big Red F Restaurant Group Celebrates National Food Service Workers Day on Sunday, September 25

(Fort Collins, CO—Thursday, September 15, 2016) The Big Red F Restaurant Group, a Colorado company, opened its first restaurant, Zolo Grill, in 1994 and has employed thousands of men and women in the foodservice industry ever since. Now with 10 independently owned and operated Colorado restaurants, BRF currently employs OVER 650 PEOPLE. To show appreciation for the hard work that food service workers do, the restaurant group is giving an employee discount of 40% off food to anyone working in the industry. The gift will be good for each person plus one guest and will be honored all day on Sunday, September 25. Sunday is a day that many in the industry have off of work, making it a perfect day to celebrate. Industry workers will need proof of employment, such as a pay stub, in order to receive the gift. It is offered to all foodservice workers which includes but is not limited to: restaurants, cafeterias, catering businesses, banquet departments, and airport/university/hospital food & beverage departments.

Founder and chef Dave Query has always told his teams that the most important people in the restaurant are the dishwashers. So in addition to the gift to all food service workers, every Big Red F restaurant will have a special dish that will be given to any dishwashers of any food service business or department, free of charge. Proof of employment will be required.

The Big Red F family of restaurants includes Centro Mexican Kitchen, Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar (in Boulder, LoDo, Glendale, and Fort Collins), Lola Coastal Mexican, The Post Brewing Company, GoodBird Kitchen, The West End Tavern, and Zolo Grill.
