FORT COLLINS, Colo. – April 21, 2016 – Family-owned and locally operated Big O Tires continues its extensive history of support for the community through its $2,000 donation to Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity.

“We are honored to support Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity and especially its current Women Build project,” said Owner Jim Lautzenheiser. “Knowing that we are a small part of a new home for the Swift Family is humbling. I’m looking forward to being out on the build site this summer.”

The $2,000 donation will help fund Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build project, which unites women in the community to uphold Habitat’s mission of providing affordable and safe housing for families that are struggling financially. The 2016 Women Build project will benefit the Swift family, which marks the fifth Women Build Home in Fort Collins.

“It is because of the generosity of our community that we are able to create new lifestyles for families such as the Swifts,” said Kristin Candella, Executive Director for Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity. “Big O’s donation truly promotes our goal to offer a hand up instead of a hand out.”
