Arboretum Coffee is thrilled to announce “A Taste of Change,” a special event dedicated to showcasing the impactful work of our apprenticeship program and the mission of our organization. Join us on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at our coffee shop located at 221 W Prospect Road #100, Fort Collins, CO 80526.
“A Taste of Change” will offer an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Arboretum Coffee’s holistic apprenticeship program, designed to empower refugees and immigrants by providing essential job training and fostering community integration. This evening will be a celebration of our apprentices’ journeys, highlighting the transformative impact of our program on their lives.
Event Highlights:
Arboretum Coffee Overview: Hear from Hannah Norris, Executive Director, about our mission, vision, and the work we do to break down barriers to economic mobility, meaningful social integration, and healing.
Networking and Engagement: Connect with other guests, interact with our staff and volunteers, and learn about opportunities to get involved in our mission.
Interactive Activity: Participate in hands-on activities from our customer service class, offering insights into how we train our apprentices with crucial skills to better serve the community.
Personal Impact Story: Hear one of our apprentice’s personal journey and how the program has positively impacted their life.
Coffee, Tea, and Food: Enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and culturally inspired snacks prepared by our apprentices, showcasing flavors from their home countries.
