Is your New Year’s resolution this year to take that idea you’ve always had and turn it into a business? Do you need help to get your ideas started? If so, then the Monfort College of Business Entrepreneurial Challenge is for you. This pitch competition helps aspiring entrepreneurs take their ideas to the next level. With judging and feedback from experienced businesspeople, participants get the tools they need to become more empowered entrepreneurs.
This year, the competition is offering three divisions in which participate: Open, Greeley and Collegiate Divisions. The Open and Greeley Divisions are open to Colorado-based entrepreneurs with a pre-launch or early-stage startup. The Collegiate Division is open to all University of Northern Colorado and Colorado community college students. More information and applications for all divisions can be found at mcb.unco.edu/e-challenge. (There is a $175 entry fee for the Open and Greeley Divisions.) The deadline to apply is Jan. 24.
