Animal Friends Alliance will be commemorating the naming of The Jason Paul Telleen Adoption Center Saturday, July 27 at 2200 N. Taft Hill Rd. Animal Friends Alliance received a generous $300,000 gift from Patricia Telleen, in loving memory of her son Jason Paul Telleen. Telleen was tragically killed in 2023. As an avid animal lover, this is a fitting way to honor and ensure his memory will live on in our community. The adoptions center at the Alliance’s Taft Hill shelter location will be renamed, and commemorative photos and signage will be prominently displayed in the building. A private event is being held on Saturday, July 27 from 5pm to 7pm at 2200 N. Taft Hill Rd. for friends and family of Jason. Members of the media are also invited to attend for photos. Light appetizers and drinks will be provided, as well as tours of the Adoption Center. Animal Friends Alliance Executive Director Sarah Swanty said, “We are honored to be able to celebrate Telleen’s life in this way. This donation will allow us to ensure our life-saving operations continue to benefit animals in Northern Colorado.”
