The Nonprofit Leadership Academy is offered by Continuing Education at Aims Community College. This program is for professionals who want to take on a role in the nonprofit sector or for those who are already in the nonprofit sector looking to develop their skills. About the Nonprofit Leadership Academy
The Aims Nonprofit Leadership Academy (NLA) is dedicated to empowering nonprofit professionals through applied leadership courses that can lead to a certification in nonprofit leadership. Designed to meet the unique needs of the sector, NLA offers three distinct certificates tailored to support professionals at every career stage. The Essentials Certificate equips emerging nonprofit leaders, the Leadership Certificate for experienced leaders, and the Professional Certificate consists of standalone courses.

NLA provides a wide-ranging curriculum that addresses critical areas of nonprofit success including financial oversight, sustainable fundraising strategies, talent development, and executive-level accountability. NLA also offers board development courses, plus additional workshops focused on grant writing. Courses are offered in person and online.
