FORT COLLINS, Colo. (June 16, 2017) – Ace Hardware of Fort Collins, a locally owned and operated Ace Hardware store located at 1001 E Harmony Rd. in Fort Collins, is excited to host its Grill Your Ace Off event on Sunday, June 25, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. This annual grilling competition will raise funds to benefit Larimer Humane Society, a local nonprofit that promotes and provides the responsible care and treatment of animals.
“Ace Hardware of Fort Collins has always put community first,” said Tim Kenney, President and Co-Owner of Ace Hardware of Fort Collins. “Through Grill Your Ace Off and several other initiatives, we have raised funds for numerous charities in northern Colorado. It is with great pleasure that we help care for the furry friends in our community by supporting Larimer Humane Society.”
Chefs from local restaurants, including 5280 Culinary and Ryan’s Sports Bar and Grill, as well as Ace Hardware of Fort Collins, will grill up their signature creations in the parking lot of Ace for the chance to be named the Grill Your Ace Off winner.
Community members are invited to come out to taste and judge the chefs’ creations at the event. Votes can be cast by donating $1 per vote, and all proceeds will go to Larimer Humane Society. The restaurant that gets the most votes, or the most donations, will be the overall Grill Your Ace Off winner.
