Fridays at the Chamber summer gathering at the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce

If you stopped by a Fridays at the Chamber event this summer, chances are you found a pretty full house.

It’s been a banner year for our beloved summer tradition, bringing together Chamber members, friends and plenty of new faces for a couple hours of food, conversation and connection.

There’s nothing particularly complicated about the idea beyond giving people a reason to spend some time together. No formal program. No presentation. No elaborate agenda. Just a chance to grab something good to eat or drink, say hello to someone you know and, hopefully, meet someone you don’t.

Each gathering has had its own personality, thanks in no small part to the businesses and organizations that joined us throughout the season. Blue Federal Credit Union, Banner Health, 4Ever Young, IPS, All Tech Automotive, ANB Bank, Ben & Jerry’s and SourceOne Digital Solutions helped us welcome the community with plenty of reasons to stick around awhile.

Our August Friday brought an extra reason to celebrate, as Lujosa Chill Bar joined us with fresh, handcrafted drinks. What’s more, we had the pleasure of officially welcoming them to the business community with a ribbon cutting right in the middle of the festivities.

So, the parking lot continues to fill up. Old friends reconnect. New members get introduced. Some arrive for a quick hello and end up sticking around for an hour. Those little interactions are exactly what this event was made for, and it underscores our mission perfectly: sometimes building community through business means burgers and ice cream among friends.

One More Friday

There’s one Fridays at the Chamber left this season, and we’d love to fill the parking lot one more time.
