A familiar Fort Collins coffee shop has a fresh name.

The Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to share member news from Mugs Fort Collins: the location formerly known as Mugs CSU is now Mugs on Laurel.

Located at 306 W Laurel St., the updated name better reflects what the Laurel location has become: a welcoming Fort Collins coffee shop for the whole community, not just students and faculty.

Same Great Coffee, New Name

Open since 2010, Mugs on Laurel has grown alongside the community as a space for connection, creativity and good coffee. The new name celebrates both the shop’s roots near Colorado State University and its role in the broader Fort Collins community.

Mugs on Laurel continues to offer a full breakfast and lunch menu, quality coffee, a full bar, indoor and outdoor seating and a staff ready to welcome guests throughout the day.

Across both Mugs locations, guests can enjoy rotating seasonal specials, $5 Thirsty Thursday bar deals, $5 happy hour food and drink specials after 2:00 p.m., weekly trivia nights and more.

A Fort Collins Favorite Since 2002

Founded by McCabe Callahan in 2002 as Fort Collins’ first wireless internet café, Mugs has spent more than two decades serving coffee, food and connection in the community.

Today, owners McCabe and Marli Callahan continue to grow the Mugs family through both coffee and community, including two Mugs locations and their Italian restaurant, Maida Trattoria.
