Leadership Fort Collins, a program of the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce, educates and motivates leaders committed to shaping the future of our community, while encouraging inspired, active involvement that contributes to community betterment.
The 2025-2026 Class features thirty-three current and emerging leaders. The group is a diverse mix of professions with representatives from education, large and small business, not-for-profit, and government.
A key part of the Leadership Fort Collins experience is Class Projects. Class members are invited to identify a community need and, working with a local connection, create and execute a done-in-a-day experience in support of positive change. Check out the 2025-2026 projects and get involved!
Neighbor to Neighbor Lending Library Launch – May 2, 2026 – 10am to 2pm
The Leadership Fort Collins Team STACKER project is partnering with Neighbor to Neighbor to launch a community Household Lending Library, giving residents access to practical household items that are expensive to purchase or only needed occasionally, such as carpet cleaners, sewing machines, kitchen appliances, and basic tools. A comprehensive list of items can be accessed using the Amazon Wish List. To help build the library inventory, we are hosting a community donation drive on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Neighbor to Neighbor (1550 Blue Spruce Dr., Fort Collins). We invite Leadership Fort Collins alumni to complete at least one simple action from the list below to help launch the library: (1) Personally donate a NEW household item by attending the May 2nd drive or purchasing from the Wish List (2) Ask your employer or workplace to donate an item, (3) Connect us with a business you know that would be willing to contribute a donation, or (4) Share the event with your friends, neighbors, coworkers, or broader community network. This project will officially launch Neighbor to Neighbor’s lending library and create a shared community resource that expands access to tools that support housing stability, independence, and everyday household needs for Fort Collins residents. For questions about this project or support coordinating a donation, please contact Emily Shore ([email protected]; 970-214-6814) or Sarah Sullivan ([email protected]; 303-726-8618).
Neighbor to Neighbor Community Garden – April 11 – 8am
The Leadership Fort Collins 2025–2026 Tigers are partnering with Neighbor to Neighbor to help rejuvenate and expand their community garden by building 15 new raised garden beds, increasing gardening opportunities and access to fresh produce for residents. The total project cost is $3,225 and we have already raised $2,500. Alumni can help close the remaining $725 gap by donating to Neighbor to Neighbor by March 31 and noting “FC Leadership Garden Project.” If you donate, please text Heather Conradson at 970-988-5978 so we can track progress. Alumni are also invited to join us for the build day on April 11 at 8:00 AM at Neighbor to Neighbor, 1550 Blue Spruce Drive in Fort Collins, where we will assemble and install the garden beds. Your support through a donation or by volunteering will help us complete this meaningful community project.
Murphy Center for Hope Gear Room Upgrade – April 17
The Murphy Center for Hope was founded in 2009 as a collaboration between 20 independent agencies and countless community partners. Now owned and operated by Homeward Alliance, this essential resource hub serves members of our community that are homeless or are at-risk of homelessness. Our team is aiming to help those in the process of Hopping Towards Housing by giving some TLC to a very important area of the Murphy Center: the gear room. This area is where individuals can access life-saving equipment like tents, jackets, and sleeping bags. We will be repainting the room, cleaning up the ceiling tiles, and redoing the floor between April 17th and April 18th . Tools that could be helpful in supporting this task would be paintbrushes, rollers, trays, and scrapers for the floor. If anyone has tools to lend to our group that could support our project or is well connected with a supplier in the area and is willing to seek a donation of tools or a gift card to a supply store for this initiative. Please reach out to Sydney Fulcher, by email at [email protected] or by phone at (970) 488-2382 to coordinate further.
Free Car Maintenance Day
Help Keep Our Neighbors Safe & On the Road! Team Monkeys is proud to announce our “Done-in-a-Day” project: a Free Car Maintenance Day in support of Isaac of Northern Colorado & CASA of Larimer County. We are currently raising funds to provide essential safety repairs—specifically new headlights and mufflers—for community members in need. On the day of the event, volunteer mechanics will be on-site to install these parts, ensuring that everyone in our community has a safe, reliable way to get to work and care for their families. How to Support: You can donate through the Fort Collins Area Chamber via cash/check or on the online portal. Please ensure the memo is marked “Team Monkeys” to ensure your gift goes directly to these repairs. Link to the portal: https://fortcollinschamber.com/payment/
SAINT Senior Transportation Media Campaign
Project team Dogs are working with SAINT senior transportation to create a promotional “done in a day” campaign. This will include a master list for physical delivery of promotional materials and the setup of a social media campaign with an auto-post system. SAINT will be providing the base for both the list of physical locations and the digital materials for the social media posts. Our ask would simply be to stay tuned and when complete to please repost like and follow, if able, the new social media posts as we go live.
