Session Presenters:

Sarah Saltee

Session Description:

Employee disengagement, turnover, and burnout are challenges that all businesses face from time to time – but what if the solution isn’t always just more perks and pay raises? The most successful workplaces prioritize emotional intelligence, creating a culture where employees feel valued, understood, and supported, especially through life’s toughest moments. In this session, you’ll learn how mastering emotional literacy can strengthen team morale, boost productivity, and improve retention, giving your business a competitive edge while fostering a truly connected workplace.

Presenter Bio:

Sarah Saltee, CTRC, MEMI, CHT, is a Certified Trauma and Resiliency Coach dedicated to helping individuals and organizations navigate the complexities of loss, trauma, and emotional well-being. After the unexpected death of her oldest son, Sarah discovered her purpose – creating space for others to recognize their own resilience, even after profound loss – a purpose she fulfills every day as the Executive Director of 3Hopeful Hearts, the only nonprofit organization in Northern Colorado that specializes in supporting grieving families after the death of an infant or child of any age. As the Executive Director of 3Hopeful Hearts, Sarah knows firsthand the importance of a strong culture of emotional intelligence in the workplace. With a deep understanding of how emotional intelligence shapes workplace culture, Sarah is committed to helping businesses create compassionate, resilient environments that support employees through life’s challenges. When she’s not speaking on the importance of emotional literacy and supporting families, she enjoys spending time with her family, tending to her extensive houseplant collection, and raising seahorses.
