Each year more than 3,600 dogs and cats find themselves at Animal Friends Alliance. On July 26, during PetSmart Charities® National Adoption Week (July 21 -29, 2025), Animal Friends Alliance will celebrate the grand opening of their new Everyday Adoption Center (EAC) inside PetSmart at 10460 Town Center Drive. The event will begin at 10:00 am with a ribbon cutting and remarks led by the Alliance’s Director of Shelter Services, Maria Hall, and the new Everyday Adoption Center Manager, Jacy Stampes.
For more than 30 years PetSmart Charities, the leading funder in animal welfare, has connected adoption partners such as Animal Friends Alliance with local PetSmart stores to bring pets into in-store Adoption Centers and events, resulting in more than 11 million adoptions.
In this new partnership with PetSmart Charities, Animal Friends Alliance will now occupy the Everyday Adoption Center (EAC) in Westminster with space for up to 40 adoptable pets at a time. The public is encouraged to stop by the grand opening event to make connections with adoptable pets of all breeds, ages and temperaments—like this adorable girl, Bridget.
