Join us THIS Thursday, April 3 from 4-6 pm at Funkwerks in Fort Collins for our first Thirsty Bird: Science on Tap of the year!
The event begins at 4 pm giving you plenty of time to grab a drink and catch up with fellow supporters before Bird Conservancy Senior Research Scientist, Arvind Panjabi begins his presentation at 5 pm
Arvind will discuss Bird Conservancy’s research on migratory grassland birds, one of the fastest declining groups of birds in North America. This will include what we’ve learned about where they winter, the challenges they face, and what they need to survive. He will also share how that knowledge engages local communities and organizations in the Chihuahuan Desert in Mexico to protect and improve habitat for grassland birds so that more of these international frequent flyers can return to the prairies each spring to grace our skies.Tickets and registration are not required. Simply drop in and raise a glass for birds!
Our generous 2025 venue sponsor, Funkwerks Brewing, will host all Thirsty Bird: Science on Tap events.
Thank you, Funkwerks!
