Hiring Fair for Graduating High School Seniors from Poudre and Thompson School Districts

Calling all Northern Colorado Businesses seeking the next generation of talent! You are invited to join the Thompson and Poudre School Districts’ hiring fair for graduating seniors, ASCENT (community college), and ACE students.

Last year we had over 50 businesses and over 200 students attend. We expect 300+ students this year. More details are below!
Date: Thursday, 4/10/25
Location: Foothills Mall, Fort Collins (Enter on the north entrance by H&M)
Cost: Free! (Donations/sponsorships are welcome to offset material and lunch costs.)

Schedule:
– 8:30am-9:00am – Arrive & Set Up (North entry Foothills Mall)
– 9:00am-12:30pm – Senior Hiring Fair (12th grade students)
– 12:30pm-1:30pm – Free Lunch, ACE & Customized Employment Presentation
– 1:30pm-3:00pm – ACE Reverse Hiring Fair (Students are set up at tables and businesses circulate)
– 3:00pm-4:00pm – Take Down and Follow Up (as needed)
We encourage businesses to participate in both the Senior Hiring Fair (AM) and the ACE Reverse Hiring Fair (PM), but understand if scheduling or other factors don’t allow this.
The Senior Hiring Fair (AM) is a traditional format with businesses set up at tables and students browsing. Students will have resumes and be prepared to interview on the spot if needed. ASCENT students (first year community college) will also be in attendance.
The ACE Reverse Hiring Fair (PM) flips the traditional job fair model: instead of employers setting up booths, job seekers create displays to showcase their skills and experiences. Employers then visit the booths to meet with candidates whose qualifications match their needs. This format allows job seekers to demonstrate their abilities in a relaxed setting while offering businesses access to high-quality, often overlooked candidates. It also reduces logistical costs for employers and encourages more meaningful conversations. For ACE students, the event provides valuable networking, exposure to different industries, and the opportunity to build confidence in presenting their strengths.
