Meldrum Construction Closure at Oak
Starting the first week in December, Fort Collins Utilities and its general contractor, WW Clyde, will extend the Oak Street roadway closure to include the intersection at Oak and Meldrum, a portion of the 400 block of Oak Street and a portion of the 200 south block of Meldrum. This closure will still allow access into the parking lots on both sides of Meldrum and the Otter Cares parking lot off of Oak Street. Pedestrian crossings will also be closed at the Oak and Meldrum intersection and pedestrians will be detoured to an adjacent block.
What to Expect
You can expect construction equipment, traffic control flaggers, and crews in the area. Crews typically will work Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.- 5 p.m. To help reduce delays, please have all vehicles moved from the areas where ’No Parking’ signs are placed. Residents and businesses along the project route will have access to their properties, though on-street parking on Oak Street will not be available. Pedestrian walkways will remain open.
