Calling all business and community members! Learn more about the Poudre School District and build bridges to lasting partnerships between your business and the school system as part of the “Leadership PSD” program.

Leadership PSD is a free program that exists to develop a lasting community of engaged partners to support PSD students. Participants will learn from leaders in PSD about how PSD operates, as well as the history, governance, budget, operations, curriculum, and special programs of Poudre School District and its 53 schoolsPSD Leadership Flyer

The schedule is as follows:

Session 1: Introduction
Wednesday, 9/25/24 (8am-11am)
PSD Strategic Plan and Data, Partnerships, Career & Technical Education, Future Ready, Assessments & Evaluation/Research, Language, Culture & Equity, Transportation & Facilities,

*School Tours* (optional)
Wednesday, 10/16/24 (9am-12pm)
The Leadership PSD group will choose their top three-four sites in PSD to tour and learn about. We will meet in a central location and carpool, or possibly take a PSD bus! This session is optional.

Session 2: Elementary Level
Wednesday, 11/6/24 (8am-11am)
Elementary Schools Overview, Before/After School Programs, Early Childhood, School Choice, Project Heart/PBL

Session 3: Middle School Level
Wednesday, 1/15/25 (8am-11am)
Middle Schools Overview, Student Services, Mental Health, Integrated Services, Athletics & Activities

Session 4: High School Level
Wednesday, 2/26/25 (8am-11am)
High Schools Overview, Opportunities Unlimited, Futures Lab, PSD strategic plan follow up, Communications, Partnership action planning and program closing

Leadership PSD alumni will exit the program with tangible partnership connections with PSD. Examples include providing Work-Based Learning opportunities for students, volunteering, joining a committee, starting a special project with your organization, supporting a school or district program, and/or any other partnership ideas that you/your organization may be inspired to pursue.
