Event Background:
Saratoga Historical & Cultural Association wanted a fun fundraiser to chase away the winter blues. The purpose was to provide a venue where people would want to get out of the house, get together with friends and family and have some fun. The name “Toast To History” became the theme to keep history in the forefront so people will not forget what our settlers went through to settle our valley. There is a little history on each table about wine and wine making and what better way to enjoy a beverage then with superbly prepared cuisine from our restaurants in Carbon County. It was brought to attention last year, we should provide a non-alcoholic beverage for people who would like to come have fun and eat and drink also. There will be a silent auction “always fun to watch and bid” a “selfie picture corner” to make memories, good conversation and did I say yummy food and wine.
