Female Tech Leader to Head Comcast Regional Operations Headquartered in Denver, Colorado
Today, Comcast announced that Amy Lynch has been appointed Senior Vice President for the Mountain West Region. Lynch will oversee all Comcast cable operations within its Mountain West Region, serving Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Tucson, AZ and parts of Idaho. Throughout the region, the company serves more than 2 million residential customers, 154,000 business customers and employs more than 11,000 people.
Based in the company’s Denver, Colorado office, Lynch replaces Rich Jennings who now leads the West Division Field Operations focused on improving consistency and predictability in service delivery and the customer experience.
Lynch has more than 21 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and has been with Comcast for 16 years. She has been named to Cablefax Magazine’s Top 100 Regional Power Players list for the last 10 years and was named one of the San Francisco Business Times’ Most Influential Women.

Most recently, Lynch served as the Senior Vice President of Comcast’s Washington region, which serves 1.4 million residential customers and 73,000 business customers. Prior to that, she served as the Vice President of Engineering Operations for Comcast’s West Division, where her portfolio included the design and deployment of next generation network infrastructure.

Amy is a New England native and holds a degree from University of Connecticut, in addition to leadership certificates from Dartmouth, Tuck School of Business and Harvard. Amy is active in the community having served on several boards, including the United Way and the Washington CEO Roundtable. She is also working on a children’s book aimed at encouraging girls to embrace STEM related interests.
