Coan, Payton & Payne, LLC is pleased to announce that Robert Lantz has been elected President of the Denver Council on Foreign Relations (“DCFR”).

The DCFR is multi-disciplinary organization committed to heightening public awareness and understanding of international issues within Colorado. Membership includes a cross-section of the Colorado community, including business, law, military, diplomatic, medical, university and other professionals.

Mr. Lantz became a member of the DCFR in 2017. He became a member of the board of directors in June of 2018, and became the President in April, 2019. In 2018, he along with students and younger members created the DCFR Associates Group, which seeks to engage younger professionals (21-35 years old) through presentations on cutting edge topics impacting the world.

As President, Mr. Lantz will serve on the speaker’s committee and also the strategic planning committee. Mr. Lantz is driven to lead the organization in the creation and hosting of a range of events, forums, and discussions, all open to the public and funded by our members designed to help the citizens of Metro Denver gain access to experts on national and international issues.

Mr. Lantz stated, “I was drawn to the organization because it is a tremendous resource for being informed regarding global issues, which issues impact Denver, Colorado, and the United States. I am inspired by the members who have helped shape foreign policy and relations around the world.”
