Flood and Peterson is pleased to announce that Whitney Shupe, Senior Operations Director, has been appointed to the agency’s executive leadership team as Chief Operations Officer (COO).

Shupe has over a decade of established expertise in the execution of operational strategies to optimize efficiency, management of resources to ensure financial strength and alignment of organizational goals and employees. She began her career working in the market solutions division within Flood and Peterson in January 2003. In her role as COO, she will continue to advance Flood and Peterson’s growth culture through her leadership in recruitment, development, and guidance of key personnel. In addition to providing vision and strategic direction for Flood and Peterson’s value-added service platforms, Shupe will assist in the creation of strategies focused on the enhancement of the client experience and continued advancement of significant insurance carrier relationships.
Shupe received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University. She is a PEP (Power of Extended Philanthropy) member of the Women’s Foundation of Colorado; a generous, passionate and diverse group of leaders who believe in creating change.
