Triumph Over Technology is a stress-free, interactive, video-based training program that teaches simple, effective strategies for building digital confidence and personal empowerment.
This course is for older adults who know how to manage basic email, do a simple web search, or watch a YouTube video, but who struggle to know how to get their photos off their phone, manage passwords, understand the cloud, keep digital files organized, use social media with ease, know how to stay safe online, or prepare a digital estate plan.
More specifically, this course is for anyone who says to themselves, “I’m so bad at technology. I’m never going to get it. I’m so frustrated – so overwhelmed.” We believe you deserve to feel engaged and empowered in the digital age. We’ll show you how.
The course is delivered online, so all you need is an internet connection. Videos are pre-recorded, so you can watch (and re-watch) whenever you want. Then, once a week, we meet live on a video chat for a Q&A session. We guide you through the whole process. So, even if you’ve never taken an online course before, we teach you how. If you can click a link, you can take the course.
The live portion of the course takes place over the course of six weeks. During this time, you’ll be able to post questions to a class forum, email the instructor, and attend our weekly live Q&A sessions. Afterwards, you’ll continue to have lifetime access to all videos and materials. You can even re-join future six-week sessions of Triumph Over Technology at no additional cost. Once you’re in, you’ve got access for life!
