On Thursday, February 14th the Lubick Foundation and RamStrength is hosting their annual “Spread the Love “ Valentine cocktail party at Colorado State University’s Canvas Stadium from 6 – 10 pm. This event is an elegant and festive cocktail party. Heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine are provided. The evening begins with a social hour, followed by a program consisting of the presentation of the Tim Rickett Inspirational Award to Dana Drake and Carli Taylor – Drake and our RamStrength video which highlights the impact RamStrength has on the community through recipient interviews. The evening closes with entertainment from the Barton Brothers Dueling Pianos and a small, live auction. Funds raised at this event will go to RamStrength’s Basic Needs Program which provides financial assistance for the basic needs of Larimer and Weld county cancer patients.
Currently, RamStrength™ is the only local non-profit that provides financial assistance for all types of cancer survivors in Northern Colorado. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we have raised over $2 million since our inception as a non-profit in 2010. Our non-profit provides assistance with mortgage and rent payments, car payments and unforeseen auto repairs, monthly bills for utilities and groceries, transportation to and from chemotherapy appointments, medical insurance premiums, prescription and lab co-pays. We also provided scholarships for tuition assistance to CSU students affected by cancer, and we sponsor local children cancer survivors to attend summer camp each year.
Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies is thrilled to have its very own Director of Marketing and Practice Development, Carli Taylor-Drake and her husband, Dana Drake, receive the Tim Ricket Inspirational Award during the event.
OCR is a proud RamStrength supporter and we’d love your support in sharing information about this great event with our community. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here.
