LOVELAND, COLO, Jan. 10, 2017 – Known for its quality beverages and dedication to the community, The Human Bean coffee drive thru is excited to celebrate its newest Loveland location by supporting Loveland Community Kitchen. On Monday, Jan. 16, the Human Bean located at 6180 E. Crossroads Blvd. in Loveland is offering $2 drinks (up to 16 oz.), and all sales generated at this location for the day will benefit Loveland Community Kitchen.

“The Human Bean has enjoyed interacting with the customers in Loveland since the opening of our Crossroads Location,” said Owner of the Human Bean, Frank Sherman. “We look forward to supporting Loveland Community Kitchen and expanding our presence among the Loveland community.”

The 500 square foot Human Bean opened in July 2016 on the south side of Crossroads Boulevard, positioned between Palomino Mexican Restaurant and Schrader’s Country Store. It is the eighth northern Colorado location, and a new Windsor location is scheduled to open in 2017.

Since coming to Northern Colorado more than 10 years ago, the locally owned and operated company has been heavily focused on giving back to the community. Its signature guest barista program has raised more than $200,000 for local charities. Most recently, its Coffee for a Cure program in October 2016 raised $50,000 for local cancer projects.

The Human Bean is looking forward to continuing its legacy of supporting local charities, including Loveland Community Kitchen. Loveland Community Kitchen is a Loveland organization that opens its doors to the homeless, working poor and anyone else in need of a hot meal and extra care. As of 2016, the organization started serving weekend breakfasts and celebrated its 20 year anniversary. Approximately 100 meals are provided to struggling patrons every day, which came to about 50,000 meals served in 2016 alone.
