It’s both bowling and costumes at Alley Cats Bowloween, a benefit for Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic at Chipper’s Lanes North on Oct. 25. Participants will enjoy two hours of bowling, food, a costume contest, games, prizes and fun.

Besides pizza and bowling, with shoe rental included, there will be a costume contest with prizes awarded for Best Male, Female, and Child, Best Cat-themed costume, and Best Couple/Team. Bowlers also will have the opportunity to win numerous prizes and participate in additional games and a silent auction. Prizes and auction items will feature generous donations from local businesses, including Cuddle Crate, Lyric Cinema, Wagz and Lambspun.

Online registration and payment are required in advance at www.FCCRSNC.org, and the registration deadline is Oct. 20. There will be no sales at the door. Teams of 6 are $130, but smaller teams or individuals can register for $25 per person. The event is limited to 24 teams of six, or 144 people. The evening of the event, check-in will begin at 4:30 p.m. at Chipper’s Lanes North, 830 N. College Ave., Fort Collins.

Proceeds will benefit the nonprofit organization’s limited-admission cat shelter and its low-cost sterilization clinic for both dogs and cats. The event is being presented by multiple business sponsors, including Poudre Pet & Feed Supply, Blue Tree Real Estate, Six Dog T-Shirt Co., and Swanty Insurance Agency. Food is being generously donated by Pulcinella Pizzeria, LaPorte Pizza, The Garlic Knot and Obee’s.
