Hiring and the ADA!

The Arc of Larimer County is pleased to offer three training sessions titled, “Human Resources and The Americans With Disabilities Act.”

September 30th – ADA 101 (pre-approved for 1.5 hours HRCI and SHRM credit)
– What is the ADA?
– People First Language
– Reasonable Accommodations/Undue Hardship
– Dinner will be served

October 28th – ADA Considerations when Recruiting and Hiring (pre-approval pending for 1.5 hours HRCI and SHRM credit)
– Hiring Benefits
– Recruiting Accommodations
– Sourcing candidates/ Onboarding
– Dinner will be served

November 11th – Engaging and Managing Employees with Disabilities (pre-approval pending for 1.5 hours HRCI and SHRM credit)
– When do I have to accommodate?
– Training modifications
– Co-Workers
– Dinner will be served
Each training session is from 6pm-8pm in the McKee Building of The Ranch (5280 Arena Cir., Loveland, CO).

These courses are designed for human resources professionals and hiring managers, but anyone is welcome to attend.
