Allied Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) and Girl Develop It (GDI), both 501(c)(3) organizations, are pleased to announce a partnership to co-offer classes, workshops, and programs to women entrepreneurs and women coders in Northern Colorado .

“Both organizations have similar goals and missions,” commented Jennifer Kalous, AWE’s Programs Committee Chair, “but we target different education areas – Girl Develop It covers more of the hard skill technology side of running a business and business website, whereas Allied Women Entrepreneurs provides more general business skills such as marketing, resume building, and financial management. This partnership will bring a greater variety of education and support services to business women in Fort Collins and the surrounding areas.”

Gretchen Kastetter, GDI Co-Leader, is equally excited about the partnership. “”Coming up on our first anniversary, we’re excited to be able to partner with AWE to also offer the business courses that we envisioned when we founded GDI Fort Collins,” she said.

The collaborative partnership will officially launch June 11, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. with a mix and mingle event at Pour Brothers Community Tavern in Fort Collins. Directors from both organizations will be present to answer questions about their organizations and to promote upcoming offerings, which include a WordPress for Beginners class and a presentation on The Neuroscience of Marketing. This event is free and open to the public.
