The Business of the Month is awarded to members who have been with the Chamber for over 10 years and are nominated by the Chamber Board of Directors, Chamber Staff and the Red Carpet Committee to receive this honor. This month we will be honoring and celebrating with Catholic Charities!
Catholic Charities – Larimer County runs Samaritan House Fort Collins & is constantly adapting to meet the growing needs of families needing shelter. It is now a 24/7 shelter… so you don’t have to leave during the day but 85% of do to attend to appointments, jobs and school (school buses pick up and drop off children outside of the shelter). The cost of living is becoming increasingly difficult for families to manage. The number of guests Sam House Fort Collins provided shelter and food for this past Spring was unprecedented. Never discouraged, the SamHouse Fort Collins team remains focused with a positive, caring focus on making everyone feel supported in a space that is safe and where they can feel whole as they navigate their way back into affordable and stable housing.
Catholic Charities – Larimer County coordinates care and programs with Catholic Charities of Denver which operates multiple shelters in the Denver area.
