About the Speaker
Bruce has over 30 years’ experience in workforce and career development in various capacities from direct service to leadership. For 13 years, he led Maryland’s workforce development-related professional development and capacity building initiatives as director of the Maryland Institute for Workforce Excellence.
When funding cuts eliminated “The Institute” in 2011, Bruce launched his own business, and through the Workforce Excellence Group, LLC, he helps people stay on the cutting edge of their professions through training, facilitation, and coaching. His areas of focus include helping employees develop the essential soft-skills they need to thrive in today’s workplace, and making training more engaging and productive. He has numerous professional certifications.
