City of Fort Collins Household Hazardous Waste Event

The Household Hazardous Waste Event gives Fort Collins residents a way to properly dispose of their household hazardous waste. Items accepted include pesticides, painting products, batteries, compact fluorescents, cleaning and automotive products, personal care products (hair products, lotions) and mercury containing products (thermostats, thermometers, button-shaped batteries). Items not accepted tires, e-waste, asbestos, explosives, pharmaceuticals and bio-waste (needles, bandages). New this year, Spring Back Colorado mattress recyclers will also be on site to collect mattresses and box springs for $15 (cash or charge)
