Public and alumni invited to attend presentation on leadership

The tenth Leadership Northern Colorado (LNC) class will soon complete their six-month program and LNC alumni and the public are invited to celebrate the class accomplishments and to learn more about leadership at a happy hour featuring Zach Mercurio, Ph.D., author of The Invisible Leader

Zach will explore the key, research-backed practices of Purposeful Leadership. With a specific focus on instilling belief in the purpose to compel engagement, unity, and results, leaders will learn research-backed practices to adopt a purposeful leadership approach. Leaders will also leave with clear action steps to guide their own leadership philosophy.

Zach is the bestselling author of “The Invisible Leader: Transform Your Life, Work, and Organization with the Power of Authentic Purpose” and is a purposeful leadership and meaningful work researcher and Adjunct Professor at Colorado State University. He has had the opportunity to work on developing purposeful leaders in organizations such as The Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, Crocs, The Alzheimer’s Association, and The National Park Service, as well as in school districts and universities around the world. His work has been featured internationally with outlets such as Forbes, Inc. Magazine, Psychology Today, The Huffington Post, and Thrive Global.

The event will be from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on June 25 at Windsong Event Center, 2901 Saddler Blvd, outside of Fort Collins. Sponsored by Kaiser Permanente and Canvas Credit Union, the event provides a great way for Alumni and the community to reconnect to the program and will raise funds to provide scholarships to future class participants.  Registration is $20 and available at www.FortCollinsChamber.com.  Registration includes snacks, drinks and the keynote presentation by Mercurio.
