The Health District is happy to announce that invitations to our 10th triennial Community Health Survey are in the mail to 13,000 randomly selected household addresses across Larimer County! We would appreciate your help in spreading the word about the survey to your families, friends, and co-workers. And, if your address was selected, the survey can be taken by an adult in your household at larimercountysurvey.org.
You can learn more about the 10th Larimer County community Health survey at https://www.healthdistrict.org/snapshot-our-communitys-health
The survey, which is in both English and Spanish, takes about 20-30 minutes to complete on a secure website, and a paper booklet version is also available. Survey questions cover topics such as physical and mental health status and needs, health behaviors, neighborhoods and environments, caregiving burden, and views on local policies. It also measures some of the impacts of the pandemic, social support structures, housing, emergency preparedness, and more.
We hope to close data collection in June, and our team will be hard at work crunching the numbers over the summer, with public data release events sometime this Fall. We are also planning community listening forums for later in the year, please stay tuned for more information.
We are thankful to the Larimer County Department of Health and Environment, Northern Colorado Health Alliance, and the City of Loveland for their financial support with this year’s survey, as well as to all our collaborators for helping us develop this assessment.
If you would like to discuss our 2022 Community Health Survey and Assessment further, or if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly. Your health matters, your voice matters.
Thanks to all you do for our community, and we look forward to sharing what we learn with you soon!
