Local Legislative Affairs Committee

The Local Legislative Affairs Committee (LLAC) works hand-in-hand with public and private stakeholders to cultivate a business-friendly environment, ultimately improving the quality of life for the entire community and region.

About the Committee

The LLAC is an energetic team consisting of 23 Chamber members handpicked by the Chamber Board of Directors. This dedicated group is carefully selected to reflect the diverse perspectives and expertise found within our Chamber membership. If you’re interested in joining, applications for the committee are accepted every November.

What makes the LLAC truly powerful is the authority it holds from the Board of Directors. This authority allows the committee to confidently shape and define the Chamber’s positions on important local legislative matters directly related to our mission statement. With this autonomy, the LLAC plays a key role in advocating for the interests of our business community.

The LLAC is at the forefront of influencing local legislation, driving positive change, and creating a favorable environment for businesses to thrive. By working together, we can enhance the quality of life for our entire community and region.
