Western States Bank Supports Up-‐and-‐Coming Local Loveland Author Deann Hummel by Hosting Book Signing May 19

Western States Bank is hosting a book signing for up-‐and-‐coming local Loveland author and business woman Deann Hummel from 1 – 3 p.m., Thursday, May 19 at its Loveland branch, 3149 N. Garfield Avenue.

Deann will be selling and signing her first book, “A Walk Beside Me,” a memoir documenting her family experience learning about and responding to her son’s Duchene muscular dystrophy journey.

In this memoir, Deann celebrates her son, who touched so many lives in a short period of time. He always had a smile on his face, and he never let obstacles get in his way. Through his actions, he inspired everyone around him to live out loud. Luke always gave a helping hand, and his purpose in life was to share the love in his heart. His life will inspire you to overcome obstacles and recognize the importance of cherishing the ones you love.

This is the first book signing to be hosted in Western States Bank’s Loveland location. When the branch relocated in 2015, space was dedicated to showcase work from local artists, authors and artisans.

“Western States Bank has a strong focus on community banking, outstanding customer service and community involvement,” said Doug Couse, Loveland branch manager for Western States Bank.” Loveland is home to many talented professionals producing inspiring work. Deann is already a staple in the community and we are honored to help her share her story and her passion with others through this event.”

This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Attendees can bring their book or purchase one at the event for $15.

Any local author or artist interested in showcasing work in the Loveland Western States Bank branch should call the branch at   970-‐593-‐1600.
