THREE RIDGEVIEW CLASSICAL SCHOOLS’ STUDENTS NAMED SEMIFINALISTS IN THE 2021 NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Ridgeview Classical Schools is pleased to announce that Forrest Freeman, Kellen Hansen, and Alexander Stanton have been named Semifinalists in the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Of the 1.6 million students entering the competition annually, only approximately one percent are selected as National Merit Semifinalists. This year, 16,000 Semifinalists have been named, and they will go on to compete for the 7,600 National Merit Scholarships available in the spring. To become Semifinalists, high school seniors were judged by their scores on the 2019 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. In February, students advancing to the Finalist level will be notified. In April of 2021, National Merit Scholarship winners will begin to be announced. For more information about the National Merit Scholarship Program, please visit www.nationalmerit.org.

Please join Ridgeview in congratulating Forrest, Kellen, and Alexander. We wish them the best of luck in the next stage of the National Merit Scholarship competition.
