Bryson Patterson is the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Regional Trade Finance Specialist. He helps small business and lenders in the Rocky Mountain Region to access SBA’s export finance programs and provides counseling and training on trade finance topics. Patterson underwrites SBA Export Working Capital lines of credit. He holds a master’s degree from the University of California, San Diego. Patterson enjoys fishing with his wife and four children.   JON MACAPINLAC

Jon Macapinlac is Director of Global Banking Business Development for First National Bank of Omaha.  Since 2011, he is charged with the enhancement and growth of the bank’s international portfolio.  Jon has over 20 years of experience with several financial institutions in San Francisco and Chicago prior to his role with the First National Bank of Omaha; advising a wide array of clients on strategies to mitigate international risk.  Jon is a 1993 graduate of the University of Iowa with a BSBA in Finance and resides in Omaha with his wife Kristin and 2 sons Noah and Logan.

PAUL G. BERGMAN, JR.

Paul Bergman is the Director of the U. S. Export Assistance Center in Denver serving the States of Colorado & Wyoming.  He has worked for the U.S. Departments of State and Commerce for forty-four years.  Before arriving in Denver, Paul was the Commercial Attaché in the U.S. Embassy in Bucharest, Romania from 1978-1981.   Also served again in Romania during the Summer of 2001 as Acting Senior Commercial Officer and served as Acting Senior Commercial Officer in Tel Aviv, Israel in the summer of 2006. In the Summer of 2010 he served as the Acting National Director for the Commercial Service in Washington, DC.  The Summer of 2017 served as Acting Commercial Counselor in Lagos Nigeria. Paul also has served as Acting Regional Director for the Southwest Network covering the States of Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana, Wyoming and Colorado.  He has lived, worked in and visited over thirty-five countries.  A 1971 graduate of Regis College in Denver and received a Master’s Degree in International Management from Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management in Phoenix, Arizona in 1973.

  ROBERT J. WAGNER II

Rob is the managing partner of BKD’s National Tax Services divisions—international tax, state and local tax, cost segregation, tax controversy and research tax credit services—and leads the firm’s inbound international services practice.  He has provided corporate tax planning since 1986; his experience includes foreign tax credits, domestic international sales corporation taxation, foreign-derived intangible income deduction, transfer pricing, mergers and acquisitions, multistate taxation and Subpart F, including global intangible low-taxed income analysis and income tax treaties for multinational companies. Rob chairs the Praxity, AISBL Global Tax and Fiscal Group and Praxity™ Tax and Fiscal Group Steering Committee.  He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Indiana CPA Society. Rob is a 1986 graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington, with a B.S. degree in accounting.
