Senesac Retained to Grow The Good At Veterans Compass

Veterans Compass of Northern Colorado is pleased to announce that Julia Senesac has joined the Veterans Compass team as their Executive Director.

Over the last 4 years Veterans Compass has operated on Volunteer Power primarily via a highly active Board of Directors including Donna Chapel, Gordan Thibedeau, Eric Peterson and Christiane Makela.

Veterans Compass is a local 501(c)(3). We imagine a community where all Veterans and their families receive the resources and support needed to thrive. Veterans Compass helps Veterans and their families navigate northern Colorado resources. We identify gaps, create collaboration among service providers and provide individualized support needed by each unique Veteran through our Navigator program.

Julia is charged with taking Veterans Compass to the next level. A 40-year resident of Fort Collins with a strong history of business and community involvement, Julia is excited to bring her experience, networks, knowledge and energy to Veterans Compass. “There is a lot to do, but my primary goals for 2020 are to build awareness of the work Veterans Compass does; grow our Dog Tag Program which promotes businesses offering discounts to Veterans, expand the Navigator Program that guides Veterans on plans to stabilize, support and enrich their future and launch my new program…The BandAid Brigade.

The BandAid Brigade brings Community and Veterans together to build relationships, create community and perform small acts of kindness to make a big difference in meeting the needs of Veterans and service member families.” Could you help? Volunteers choose how and when to support. Once, once or twice, once a week? Stay tuned…
