The 12-hour “pianothon” held Saturday, June 6 at the Northern Hotel in Fort Collins hit the right key, raising nearly $775 for Pathways Hospice.

“We were so honored to be a part of this wonderful event,” said Director of Development for Pathways Hospice, Annie Brunsell. “Music has a unique way of connecting people in a community.”

Forty-four pianists loaned their talents, performing in 15-minute time slots from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The level of pianists ranged from accomplished classical performers to young local students.

The event benefitted Pathways Hospice as well as Project Youth and Chamber Music. The event also served as a kick-off to Project Youth and Chamber Music’s OFF THE HOOK Chamber Music Festival that will take place from June 15 to June 29.
