RIDGEVIEW DOMINATES COLORADO REGIONAL MIDDLE SCHOOL SCIENCE BOWL

Ridgeview Classical Schools’ middle school team made history on Saturday, February 4, 2017, when they placed first in the Colorado regional middle school science bowl. The members of the winning team (Team 1) now have the opportunity to represent Ridgeview and their state on a national stage at the National Science Bowl in Washington, D.C.
For the first time, both middle school teams earned a spot among the top eight teams and a showing in the double-elimination rounds. Ridgeview Team 2 placed 8th overall in a competition open to all middle schools in the state of Colorado. Team 2 played with spirit and represented Ridgeview honorably in each of their rounds.
“Thank you, parents, for all your help and support. Your children presented themselves and represented their school with dignity, politeness, and good sportsmanship. It was a pleasure to work with all of your children both in the classroom and during practice over the past few months, and I look forward to helping prepare Team 1 for the competition in our nation’s capital.” – Mr. Hayhurst, Coach
