OpenStage Theatre & Company: Pick up Audition for Herr Schultz – Cabaret

OpenStage Theatre & Company is seeking a male presenting, Jewish actor/singer for the role of Herr Schultz in Cabaret for our 50th Anniversary 2022-2023 Season. We are hosting in-person auditions on Tuesday, July 26th, at 7 pm in our Backstage Arts Warehouse, 720 E. Vine Drive, Fort Collins.

THE ROLE
Herr Schultz: (Baritone/Tenor; G2 to F4) 50s–70s, male presenting, Jewish, German; He owns a fruit shop in Berlin and rents a room from Fraulein Schneider. He is a passionate and romantic, mature man.

OpenStage’s Essential Season

All roles require some form of physical intimacy or performance of sexuality onstage. The cast will be working with an intimacy coordinator throughout the rehearsal process to ensure the mental and physical safety of the actors. Actors auditioning should be comfortable with this type of material and subject matter.
